How Do I Import PDF files to Onenote

D

I want to import PDF files into OneNote. I tried using the hyperlink, but
when I then click on the link in ONeNote it acts as though Adobe was opened,
but it just flashes for less than a second and goes back to the OneNote
screen. There has GOT to be some way of importing PDF files as they are
ubiquitous in research material. Without this ability, OneNote is not very
good.

Hi Don,

AFAIK, you are out of luck then. If you had a Tablet PC, then you could
have gotten a tool that allows you to print the PDF to ON and see each
page as image in ON.
The alternative is using ON 2007 Beta, which has that functionality
built-in and allows you to embed files directly as well (meaning you can
put a file on a page and not just a link). It is real beta software
complete with bugs, crashes, problems and other stuff. In addition, once
you upgraded your notes to 2007, there is no way back to 2003. If you
want to run the risk (and a risk it is), then go to the Microsoft Office
Preview Site (typing this into Google will get you there). and download
it.
