How do I print handouts (6 slides per page) and use the whole page

Currently when I print, I get 6 per page, but there is about 1.5 inches from
the top and bottom and about 1 inch from the sides (and all that space in
between the slides! ) that could be used to make the slides a little larger,
while still keeping them at 6 per page.
Any ideas?
