how do i save documents to a usb port

Don't even think of saving documents directly from Word to any removable media,
including USB drives, CD-R/DVD-R, floppies, etc. It's just a great way to get
corrupted documents that may not be openable.

Always save to the hard drive, then copy to the USB drive or other disk. If you
need to edit the documents, copy them back to the hard drive first.
