How do I stop OneNote from auto switching into ink mode on Tablet

I am running OneNote 2007 on a Vista Tablet PC. My general preference is to
enter text into OneNote via my keyboard and use my tablet stylus as my
primary pointing device.

OneNote is forever making uncommented shifts into ink mode such that when I
try to click into text to correct my typing or swipe/select text to
copy/paste, I instead end up putting an ink dot or an an ink line,
respectively, into my notes.

How do I stop OneNote from auto-switching into ink mode?

Go to Tools->Options->Pen, and uncheck "automatically switch between pen
and selection tool".
