How do you collapse subpages in OneNote?

I use OneNote for class, both taking notes and doing homework. Printing pages
is tricky and tedious when they run a bit long (moving everything around to
fall neatly along printed page lines ). So, I've started to keep each page
and subpage the same length as a printed page and each HW problem gets its
own subpage. This gets very clunky and bloated. Is it possible to collapse
pages and subpages in the sidebar? If so, how do I do it?

Does anyone know if it's(collapsing subpages) a planned feature or part of an
MRD for next release of OneNote? Seems to me more than a few folks are asking
for a feature like this.

The main problem is not a missing option for collapsing subpages,
although it's an important issue.

The problem you are facing is the lack of proper page handling for
printing.
IMO it would be necessary to show page-breaks (based on the paper format
selected) as well as the option to set a page-break manually.
