How to add an arrow symbol to a legend?

Hi,

Is it possible to add an arrow symbol to a legend? I have 3 colour coded
arrows in a diagram and I'd like to provide a description of each colour in
the legend. My diagram already has a legend with other symbols.

the legend is another addin piece of code that takes advantage of keeping
data in the shapesheet of an object. You can do this a couple of ways but
the easiest might be to just create your arrows as custom shapes/stencil and
then ensure that they have a user property field "user.visLegendShape" with
a value of 2.

Thanks for the response. Can modification of user.visLegendShape be done
only programmatically or can it be done through Visio's UI?

Please disregard my last post. I just figured it out: run in developer's
mode and use shape sheet.
