How to change project's work environment in Project Server 2007?

We have two similar projects in Project Server 2007, Project1 and
Project2, with PWA work environment /pwa/project1 and /pwa/project2
respectively, then we decide to combine them to one project in the
following way:
1. Delete Project2 from Project Server, but leave it's work
environment /pwa/project2.
2. Delete Project1's work environemnt /pwa/project1.
3. Associate work environment /pwa/project2 to Project1.

We have done step 1 and step 2, but how to do step 3?

Take a look in the Server Settings page -> Operational Policies
section -> Project Workspaces link. This will bring up a page where
you can assign and change the URL for the project workspace.

I believe you will need to remove the url from Project 2 and then
associate it with project 1, Two Projects can't share the same
workspace.
