How to Create Motion in Presentation

I would like to show arrows moving along a straight line in a drawing to
demonstrate the direction of flow in a presentation. How can I add this
detail in a presentation? (to make a motion picture in effect so that the
audience can visualise the direction of flow along a pipe.)

What version of PowerPoint are you using? In PowerPoint 2002/XP and above,
draw the arrow, then click Slide Show > Custom Animation. Click Add Effect >
Motion Path > Right (or other directions).
