How to delete text from a downloaded web picture

I downloaded a bookmark template and inserted a picture from the web. On the
picture is the name of a family: Anderson Family Reunion. I want to edit
that and
change to my family name. I can't figure out how to edit it.

Word cannot really edit a picture. You want a proper graphics
application for that. If you are willing enough, you may even you Paint ...

You can certainly put something in front of the picture, though.

And you can spare yourself all the trouble by asking the person who
created the picture if he hands you the original where it's much, much
easier (if you have an application handy that's able to work with
whatever the creator has used). This approach has the added benefit of
not risking any legal surprises ...
