How to make the same information show in different Content controls in Word 2007

Hello Everyone,

Here is the situation. Presently we have a document we give to all our
customers, the document basically stays the same, just that the client name
and details changes. The client name is repeated a lot of times. Presently
we have a standard document that we open and just replace the standard
client name. We have just moved to Office 2007 and with all the learning
that people have to do to get up to speed with the new interface we are
finding it difficult to get them to use the find and replace all command and
not mess up the document in any other way

I was just playing around with Word 2007 and saw this interesting feature-
content controls and how they could be filled up using the Document
information panel. I saw a demonstration of how it works with WSS where they
only have to fill up the information once in the document information panel
and the information gets propagated to all the controls in the document. We
are not using WSS right now. So I would like to know if it would be possible
to have the same functionality with just Word 2007 without WSS, so that the
users just have to fill out the information in the DIP and then forget about
it?

Thanks
Dave
