How to move focus from a subform control...

I have a subform nested inside the main form. The subform is in datasheet
view and record can be selected by placing the cursor on that row. What I
like to do is once user selected a record in the subform (it could be
anywhere in the datasheet) and then use a combination keystroke like
"Control" and "D" to jump out of the subform and move the focus to a next
control on the main form. At present user has to use the mouse to move the
focus to the next control on the main form .
