How to save a landscape picture in portrait format?

I have currently a drawing in landscape format.
Now I want to save it in portrait (=rotated by 90deg) so that I can import
it later in a portrait Word2003 doc.

However I don't want to permanently rotate the current landscape picture but only save
it rotated. Is this possible somehow?

Switching from landscape to portrait will not rotate the drawing--it only
changes the paper orientation.

You can do either of two things: 1.) insert another page, set it to
portrait, copy and paste your drawing onto this page and then rotate it.
This way, the drawing in rotated orientation will always be available.
Re-select the drawing, and copy/paste into Word., or 2.) so the same thing,
but delete all other pages and save as a new file. Same copy/paste technique
applies.
