how to use page setup in Publisher

In Page Setup in Publisher 2007, my only options seem to be the Publisher
templates. I'm unable to set up my own custom page. Is there any way to make
it look like the regular page setup?
Also, when opening a doc created in Publisher 2003, I lost my page set up
(that is, a postcard, 4 up on 11 x 8.5 - now it is a single 5.5 x 4.5
postcard with no way to make it 4 up: the "multiple page" command has no
effect).
Help?

By "regular" do you mean the "old" page setup? No.

Custom page size options are on the right-hand side of the window. Or
you can create a new preset if you're going to be using a particular
document size regularly.

Do the math: 4.5 × 5.5" won't fit on 8.5 × 11" paper; you'd need 9 ×
11". You want 4.25 × 5.5". The page setup can be finickity; you need to
use the Advanced options and possibly set the paper size manually.

Use the US Avery setup for postcards.(3263 or 3380 for example) It always works.
When you are ready to print, especially if you are using mail merge, (print
merge) be certain to select "multiple pages per sheet".

Page setup in 2007 is an adventure.
