How to view Publisher 2003 files if you have Publisher 2000?

I have Publisher 2000 and somebody sent me some files that were created with
Publisher 2003, that I cannot view. Is their any way to view Publisher 2003
files with my Publisher 2000?

Margolotta, I did Google and the answers were useless, so that is why I
posted it here, and received another useless answer. I do not have access to
the sender as the files were not sent to me by the creator and I do not have
access to the creator. I repeat, the question is: Is their any way to view
Publisher 2003 files with my Publisher 2000?

Gene, If you send me the file I will convert it to 2000. Be aware it might lose some
formatting.

From the past few days of reading this group, I think one answer is to
skip posts by Margolotta who is more interested in finding fault and
critcizing than answering questions- she probably doesn't know the answer to
anyway.

I have Publisher 2000 and haven't gotten any files from anyone with
another version, but I'd be interested in the answer to this, too, in case I
ever do.

I'm not sure but I think there is something you can download to view
Publisher files, even if you don't have the program. Or maybe that's just
Power Point. I'm sure someone who knows the answer will tell you.

=====================================
There is no Publisher viewer.

However....the 30 day trial version
will still function as a viewer after the
trial expires.

My computer techs removed my publisher from my computer because they said it
was corupting my computer. I have had publisher for ever and have a lot of
files created in Publisher. Is there a read only version of publisher
available so I can read my existing files? Mark

Tell your computer techs they are absolutely wrong. You are the first poster that has
said a program corrupted their computer, more than likely you had a video driver
issue and your tech folks couldn't recognize the problem!
You can download a trial version of Publisher 2003, when the 30 day trial runs out
you can use it as a viewer.
