Hyperlinking at Powerpoint presenation to another

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have exhausted my options for linking a pptx to another pptx. So far I have tried every suggestion on mactopia. I created an action button, selected hyperlink to an existing file, chose the pptx file and told it to start at slide one and clicked OK. All this gets me is an action button that does nothing. This was done in both mouse click and mouse rollover. I also did this highlighting text as the hyperlink, no luck.

I repeated the exercise using Slide Show/Action Settings/Mouse Over/Hyperlink to/pptx file/ Etc....

What the Heck?

Thanks

Hyperlinks only work in Slide Show view, not in Normal/Edit View. Try
running the slide show and clicking on the link/button.
