I have a new idea involving internal recording for computers

I thought of a brilliant idea involving an internal recording device in
computers, that in which anything played on the computer can be recorded and
then saved if wanted. This would allow people to send personal voice messages
through email, and tons of different possibilities. Ultimately, I think the
money would flow in from people using this device to get music. For example,
if one were to play a song on yahoo.launch they could technically save the
song, and download in to their PC, and burn it. This idea is still rather raw
and in the designing stages. I've already contacted Dell with this idea,
however if Microsoft has any interest in it please contact me and we can
discuss the details. Please see that this email gets to the proper people. I
would be eager to discuss the idea with any company who is interested in
expanding it. Again please contact me if you are interested. Thank you!

Oh yeah, we'll pass this message on. Let's see - who's turn is it to go to
lunch with Bill tomorrow?

We've had that capability a LONG time (about ten years or so). In the
sound card software it's frequently mentioned as "record what you hear".
