Icon in taskbar

I have the sp1 preview of one note but the icon is missing from the
notification area. I have tried reinstalling it, tried repairing it. and
also going into the properties of the taskbar to always show it but it is
not showing, any ideas.

The feature is still there but you need to add it back
in It's a
known bug with the SP1 preview.

Ben Schorr posted this in another thread on how to fix
this:
::begin cut and paste::
Close OneNote. Copy and paste this text into a clean
Notepad window and
save it to your desktop as "Trayfix.reg"
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\OneNote]

"FirstBoot"= -

Then double-click that Trayfix.reg file to add it to the
registry. That
should fix it.
