Identifying activities with open ends

I've always been taught and have made an effort to assure every activity in
my project has both front end and back logic ties. The first activity in the
project does not have a predecesor and the last activity has no successor.
All other have both. In Project, I have not find an easy, simple way to
identify activities that, for whatever reason, did not get logic ties. Is
there an analysis report I can run that will display all activities with open
ends?

Thanks

Hi,

Insert the Total Slack column. Any task with Total Slack going out to the
end of the project is likely to be missing a successor.

Thanks Rod,
I understand the relationship between float and logic. I was just hoping
Project could identify activities missing logic rather than the scheduler
being req'd to compare total slack & the project end date. This might be
rather cumbersome when scheduling a project in hours (which I do).

Hi,

You could use the AutoFilter to filter out blanks in the Successors column.
