Import identity from Entourage X to Entourage 2008?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Entourage 2008 won't import the Entourage X identity. The import wizard allows me select the Entourage X identity folder, but after it "imports" for about one-tenth of a second, it reads, "Entourage has finished importing data," when in fact, nothing has been imported.

Seemingly, the only solution is to export .mbox files from Entourage X, but this fails to retain the complex hierarchy of folders in my inbox.

Is there a fix? I'm grateful for any help you can offer.

You can try the latest script by Jolly Roger that exports folders as MBOX
and includes subfolders.
