I am creating forms for a presentation to use InfoPath. I have created a
single data base that includes: 1) Manager's names, phone, email, etc (and ID
number); 2) Vendor name and demographics; and 3) a database to create
contracts. I want to create a form that allows me to enter a manager ID
number and all manager information comes up...then enter a vendor number and
all vendor data comes up, then add data, and submit it all to a 'contract'
database. I create a field to 'populate' the contract table, and then try to
'get' list from secondary source and I get a message that I 'use a field that
retrieves, not one that will be used to upload data.
I don't know if this is an Access database problem (both tables are in the
same database) or an InfoPath problem. Your assistance is appreciated.
