Is there a divise that will allow pen type input as if it
where a mouse. Useing a mouse to enter data is not very
useful.

An external digitizing tablet will provide penlike input in ON for drawing.
It will not create handwriting - anything you "write" with the external
tablet will be interpreted as a picture.

At this time, only a Tablet PC will have its input recognized as
handwriting.
