insert media placeholder in master - question

I have inserted a "media placeholder" in my master (ppt 2007). I made the
placeholder a specific size and placed it as needed in the frame. When I
use the placeholder to insert a video, I want that video to take on the size
and position of the placeholder. It does not. How can I accomplish this?
