Install from USB drive?

Bob Newman

I am a registered owner of Office 2007 and have my original install disks.
I am thinking of buying a netbook (no cd/dvd drive). If I was to copy my
install disks to a USB flash drive using another computer would I be able to
install Office on the netbook from the flash drive? Hopefully I would be
able to since I would still have to input the product code to prove it's
authenticity. If this is not the case, would Microsoft let me download
Office to the netbook directly (no charge of course since I am a legal
owner)?

Thanks in advance... Bob

Yep. Or to an external hard drive. Or network drive that the netbook can
access.

Thanks. I didn't want to buy and external drive.
