Installation Disaster - Sony Office-Ready PC & Medialess License K

V

VC

I have a brand new Sony VAIO notebook that had a trial version of Office 2007
Small Business installed. I had also purchsed a medialess lecense for Ofiice
Professional 2007.

Sony tech support told me to download a trial version of Office
Professional, remove the Small Business version from my computer, and use the
purchased key to activate the trial version of Professional.

But the trial Office Professional does not accept my key, and I do not know
what to do now.

HELP!

That is because Sony tech support told you wrong!

MLK will NOT activate any trial software that you can download. The Office
ready PC needed to be installed by Sony using a program disk that they would
have in their possession during the computer's initial setup.

Go to this Microsoft web site, enter the pertinent information and either
download your software OR better yet purchase the back up media CD/DVD.

http://www.microsoft.com/office/backup/en-us/default.mspx

Ensure that when it asks if you purchased the MLK and computer within the
last 90 days you answer yes otherwise you won't be able to get the software.
