Installing Microsoft Office 2000 Professional with Windows XP

I just cleared my entire hard drive and had to reinstall Windows XP. I'm
trying to put the Office 2000 on the computer but it won't work. The first
thing that pops up is "Product Compliance Check" and "Setup failed to locate
a valid qualifying product on your machine" I enter in C Drive. Then I get
the error 1608. "Could not find previously installed compliant products on
machine" Any help would be appreciated.

Crystal,
The qualifying product the installer is looking for is your previous
version. When you get this message, just insert your older version cd. The
installer will "see" it, then you can finish your Office 2000 setup.
