Installing Office 2000 Premium on Windows XP Home Edition

Installation works fine on W2K but fails with Error 2755
and message 'Installation has terminated prematurely'.
Have read Knowledge base articles but they do not seem to
help. May be security access issue with installer and CD-
ROM access? Is this likely? Whats the quick fix?
