installing office ultimate

Dr. Vicki

I installed office suite and it said I've reached the max number of
installations. License is for 3 computers, and indeed I am trying to install
it on a 4th computer. I purchased the software for installation on 3
computers at the office and want to put it on my home office so I can
transfer data back and forth...what do I have to do to get this
activated--where and how do i get an additional license for the software i
just installed. Or do i have to purchase an entire new suite? thank you for
your assistance.

Office Ultimate is not valid for 3 licenses.

2. INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS. Before you use the software under a license,
you must assign that license to one device. That device is the “licensed
device.†A hardware partition or blade is considered to be a separate
device.
a. Licensed Device. You may install and use one copy of the software on the
licensed device.
b. Portable Device. You may install another copy on a portable device for
use by the single primary user of the licensed device.

You need to purchase more licenses.

There is a confusing array of suites, seven I think. Afaik, Enterprise,
Professional Plus or Small Business can be purchased on a volume basis. If
Dr. Vicki has one of these, then she can buy another license to activate
what she has already installed on the fourth computer. Otherwise, she would
have to buy three more suites.

My advice is for her to go back to the sales person who sold her what she
has now, and ask how to license another computer or other computers.
