Irregular shaped buildings

Hi all,

I am a property manager and use Visio to do floor plans for warehouses.
Buildings that are rectangular or square pose no problem- but an irregularly
shaped building (like a paralellogram) does. If I try to put doors, offices,
etc. along a wall that is not at right angles I either can't get them to
align with the wall or they distort. Not sure if there is some default rule
in the program that I have to override. Sure would appreciate getting pointed
in the right direction. Thanks.

The doors and windows should snap to the wall even when the wall is at an
angle

I can confirm John's statement. Built an irregularly shaped structure with
odd angles. Then took a door and hovered the center of it over the wall and
released. It snapped right into place. Same with an "openning". Plus, it
didn't matter if Snap mode was turned on or off.

I agree with my superiors.
Maybe you don't have the patience.
Drag, hover for four seconds and drop.
