Labels Problem - Extra Space Inserted When Printing

When I create labels in Word, such as Avery 5160, as soon as I select
"Print," an extra line is inserted at the top of the document and the labels
are misaligned and printed on two pages. The label type does not matter and
this happens with both of the two printers at my office. I have never had
this issue before. I print labels at home all the time without any problems.

Does it still do so if you start Word in its safe mode (hold the CTRL keys
whilst starting Word). If not, you have a header/footer in normal.dot (which
may be only a paragraph mark). That being the case rename normal.dot to
normal.dot.old.

The other likely issue is that you have the page setup for the labels and
the printer with different paper sizes and you have a scaling option set in
the print dialog.

I tried starting Word in safe mode, but that did not help. I don't
understand how to see if there is a header/footer in normal.dot. Can you
please explain this? Thank you.
