Dear everyone:
I have set up my FrontPage 2003 site with Shared Borders.
I added a link bar in the Shared Border.
When published, the link bar works, but the button images do not show up
correctly.
I have researched the help articles online which indicate that link bars in
Shared Borders may not render properly. But no solution is offered.
I have taken Ron's advice and used the space remover offered by
JIMCOSOFTWARE and recalculated my hyperlinks.
I have reworked the construction in Navigation view, essentially inputing my
web site again.
And the link bar still does not render properly.

So, when I add a link bar to a Shared Border, if I go to Navigation View and
begin, there is only the index box. If I drag my pages from the folder list
under the index box, the link bar does not show up on my web pages.
In order for my link bar to show up on the page, I have to add another box
to the Navigation view by adding a link bar from INSERT, NAVIGATION, etc. to
the page first. Then, I go back to Navigation View and drag my pages under
the new box. When setting up this new box, I check the alternative to link
the home page.
When previewing this site in my browser, it all works fine and looks fine.
But it does not when I publish it!
Any suggestions? I have been working on this simple page for a few weeks
and I am getting to know my way around. But I am obviously doing something
incorrectly.
