We have charts created in Excel 2003, copied and pasted special in PPT. When
we bring them over to 2007 with the 2003 PowerPoint and update links, we lose
the charts in PowerPoint. We have to relink PPT to Excel chart by chart and
then individually update the link for each chart.
Even when we save the files as 2007, we still lose our links and are going
in individually to click on the blank space where the chart should be, open
the chart in Excel and the go back into PPT and click update link. Chart, by
chart, by chart.
Tables are fine. It's just the charts.
Anyone have any ideas, hints or tips to streamline the process of changing
updating from 2003 to 2007?
