Links in emails only open home page after upgrading Outlook XP to

D

Don Anderson

Last week I upgraded one of my users from Office XP to Office 2003. Today she
reported that when she clicks a link (URL) in an e-mail in Outlook 2003,
Internet Explorer opens with her home page, rather than with the page the
link pointed to.

I've seen several postings here and elsewhere about a similar problem but
not this exact problem.

We are on Exchange 2003.

Thanks,
Don

Diane,

I reset web settings in IE on another machine and lost access to some
plugins so I am reluctant to do that.

When you say detect and repair, do you mean from the Office 2003 installer?

Thanks,
Don

Yes, run detect and repair either from the installer or outlook's help menu.
