Trying to create macro action "TransferText" cannot figure out how to add
"Primary Key (Autonum)" when importing the text .just as I would do it at
"external data" import ..Can anybody give me an idea?

Morris,

Do you have an Import Specification set up for this transfer? And are you
importing to an existing table?

YES I set up an Import Specification for this transfer, but I was not able to
get the primary key to be included in the Import Specification.
YES I am
importing to an existing table.

If you have an autonumber primary key, you don't want to include it in the
import specification. Access will supply a value for you.

Sorry I have to correct myself I am importing to a NEW table. My original
file does not have a autonumer I want to add it when it gets imported to
access.

You can import the data to a table, and then run an append query to add
that data to another table that does have an autonumber field in it.
