Master Project in 2007

I have created a master project with 8 sub-projects. I can save all
sub-projects by the master project. But I can't publish/republish all
subprojects similarly, only master project is published/republished when I
give publish command from master project, means changes of sub-projects
didn't publish with the publishing of master project. Then I have to
seperately publish all sub-project for new changes.
Is there any way to publish all sup-projects from master project?

Hi,
Hmm, you are seeing behaviour that I've not seen before, the sub projects
should be published. Were the sub projects opened as Read/Write and the Link
to Project check box checked (default options). Also, do you get the prompts
to save the sub-projects when you publish the master project.

I get prompts to save the sub-projects when I save the master project. But if
I don't save master and sub-projects and want to publish master project, that
time promts to save appear.
Sub-projects opened as read/write mode but Link to project check option
(where?)

Thanks

The open/read write etc appears when you insert the sub project.

Your other sentence doesn't quite make sense, please rewrite it so I can
understand it.

Also, I've just tested it again to make sure it works, and I can confirm
that opening a master project, changing it, and/or the sub projects, and then
saving and publishing the master project, confirming the option to save the
sub project, then publishes the sub project.

You might just want to set up a simple test to confirm this behaviour.

Your mention behavior is OK. But resources are not getting their new/changes
tasks in My Task page after publishing the master project.
Even they are getting new/change tasks in their Time Sheet page rather then
My Task page if I publish sub-projects seperately.

I've just run through the scenario with assignments on both the master and
sub projects, and these assignments are being seen on the my tasks pages.
When I make changes to the assignments, and then republish, these changes are
then reflected in the my tasks pages. For me, this is working as expected,
so without any specific error messages etc I cannot tell what is happening on
your system.
