Hi,

I have a subform in continuous form view, 2003 mdb. In the subform
afterupdate event I want to use

me.recalc

to recalculate some manual controls, but it causes the following error:

2115 The macro or function set to the BeforeUpdate or ValidationRule
property for this field is preventing (mdb name) from saving the data in the
field.

I don't understand why. If I remove the line, and step through code, there
are no beforeupdate events firing after the form afterupdate sub, and surely
a validationrule violation wouldn't be initiated by recalc?

Could it be corruption?
