Merge in 2000

[Asussertown]

I got a template for a mail merge (placecards) that is horrible to work
with. It took hours of prep and then doesn't look that good. I would like to
create it myself in Publisher but I can't figure out how to get a merge to
work when I create separate frames on the page. It appears the same question
would apply to Word and would be very useful. Any help?

What are you trying to do? Are you looking to have multiple placecards
printed on a single sheet?

Take a look at the following tutorial which does the same thing (but uses
Publisher 2002/2003):
