Message text disappears

Hi,
I have seen a really weird problem. When replying or forwarding an email,
after writing the body of the message, I try to insert a signature and all
the text I have just written disappears. I am using Outlook 2007. This does
not happen for all replies and forwards, just sporadically. I have not found
any pattern to the occurances. I have not been able to find a solution to
fix this permanently. I can sometimes get around the problem but often just
have to type out the signature manually. I am using plain text for the
emails.
