Microsoft office 2003 and Vista downloading issues

I am trying to install office 2003, I bought my computer is running on Vista
which was preloaded with a temporary version of Microsoft suites. My work
has a shared use disk of Microsoft office 2003 and has given me the license
key to use it. When I installed the setuppro from the disk, and enter the
product key, I get an error message " Microsoft Office cannot continue
because the installation source has been corrupted" The technicians at work
have assured me there is no issue with the disk. Any ideas?

You need to uninstall the Office 2007 free trial software before you
install your Office 2003 volume-license software. By the way, support
for volume-license software is supposed to be provided by the volume
license holder (your work).
