Microsoft Office Compatibility via GPO.

Hi everybody,

We have the intention to do a global Microsoft Office Compatibility
installation within our company windows 2003 domain.

We have a mixed environment with Office from 97 to 2007 versions and of
course we are not going to install this package where no necessary like on
workstations with Office 97 - Office 2007 installed. So, it's better to use
scripts language instead of GPO software package, as it's impossible to avoid
installation in some cases.

I've been looking around on the Internet and checking several forums and
communities and there aren't any interesting solution for our goal. The only
interesting thing I've sawn is runas command, but this method is pretty
unsecure because It's needed to prvide runas with an administrative account
password to install any program on the workstations.

Are there any alternative to runas?.

Thanks in advance.
