Microsoft Office OneNote: attention required

I keep getting the message "Microsoft Office OneNote: attention required"
when I try to sync OneNote on my Mobile 5 PDA, using the mobile device center
under Vista. Can anyone provide direction to deal with this error, or a link
to where I might seek assistance with this error? Thanks!

This was eventually solved by deleting the cache file. I followed
instructions from Josh Epstein in an unrelated post!

"You can try blowing away your cache folder. If you have any un-synchronized
changes in any shared notebooks though, make sure they are all up to date
first. To get to the cache folder, open Tools -> Options -> Save. Make note
of the
cache folder shown there, open it in Windows Explorer (after closing
OneNote) and delete any files in there."

Well, I spoke too soon. Although this solved the problem of generating the
sync error, it didn't really fix the problem. I finally discovered how to
reinstall OneNote Mobile (tools>options), and did reinstall it. Then I was
testing the sync process. It was able to see a file I created on the pda,
which automatically transfered to the PC. However, as soon as I made a change
on the PC, and attempted to sync, it generated the 'attention required' error.

Very basic functionality is not working.

It finally worked for me, but I had to recreate the partnership after
manually creating the OneNote Mobile notebook.
