Microsoft OneNote

I have Microsoft Small Business 2007 installed on my Vista Computer. I have
Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 installed on two other computers in
the office. I want to have the option of using OneNote on my Vista Computer.
How do I install just that feature from my Home and Student software?

I do not know the "Home and Student" version.
But normally every Office package has a dialog offering the selection of
the install mode "customized".
With this choice one can deseletct everything except OneNote.

You might run into some licensing/activation problems. Typically an MS
office suite is licensed for two machines, a desktop and a laptop, that is
'exclusively' used be the owner of the desktop. Amounts to being able to
install, and 'activate' office products on two machines. If you have one
copy of Home and Student, and it is not a multiple license copy (I believe
there are some), you likely have used the two activations it allows. It is
also not intended that you could install Word on one machine, Excel on
another, PowerPoint on a third, etc. so I'm not sure if you could install
just OneNote on a third machine alone, if you haven't used it in the other
two installs. I also am unsure what the activation process will do if you
install OneNote from the Home and Office suite, on a PC that already has an
activated copy of Office from the Business version.

I realize that is a lot of "I'm not sure's", just wanted you to be prepared
for potential activation issues if you manage to install.

The "Home and Student" versions, at least the off-the-shelf versions,
are licensed for three installations. The OEM versions (those that
come with a particular computer) may differ, though.
