Folks, do any of you belong to the Microsoft Project Users Group? Is it
worth the $99?

Mark --

I belong to the Denver chapter of MPUG and I find the attendance at local
meetings to vary widely. The last time I attended, I believe there were
only 8 folks in attendance. When I attended a meeting two years earlier,
the attendance was nearly 100 people and Dr. Tim Pyron was the guest
speaker. I have attended an MPUG meeting in New Orleans and there were
probably 30 to 40 people there. In spite of the varying attendance at local
MPUG chapter meetings, I find the presentations to be useful and interaction
with other users to be helpful. I thoroughly enjoy both the paper and
electronic newsletters from MPUG and have personally contributed articles to
both. I believe the $99 membership fee has been worth it. Perhaps the
others have some thoughts, too.
