I have 40 or so roaming users and normally, I'll use one
machine to generate profiles. I use GPO's instead of MST's
for customizing setup of Office 2003. However I run into
this problem where I am able to generate only one roaming
profile just fine. But when I go to generate another after
that and I try to start say Word 2003, MS Installer keeps
on running and then fails, everytime. Outlook won't run
either it tells me operation failed due to an installation
problem. If I go into the Event Viewer there are
MSInstaller Warnings saying this:
Detection of product '{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-
0150048383C9}', feature 'OutlookUserData',
component '{8ADD2C9C-C8B7-11D1-9C67-0000F81F1B38}'
failed. The
resource 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0
\Outlook\UserData' does not exist.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this before I
go insane??
