MS Project 2007, Auto Filter Bug?

I am trying to create a custom auto filter by CPI or SPI. When I do
so however, it does not filter correctly (everything is filtered or
nothing). When I go into look at the filter again it has converted
the values to $. E.G. A custom filter of less than 0.8 get
translated to $0.8. I can successfully created auto filter for other
money based columns but these columns and similar number based columns
do not filter.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi Todd,

I can reproduce what you report. A work around that may solve the
problem for you temporarily -- use a spare number field and set a
formula of [SPI] -- make sure you set the summary tasks to use the
formula. You can now use an autofilter on the spare number field.
