Hi C,
In Tools --> Options Calendar tab, set your week to start on Tuesday.
In Format --> Time scale choose the label 1,2,3,4...(From Start) to get the
week of 12/28/04 to 1/3/05 to be week 1.

Hope this helps

Hi Julie,
Currently in Project January 3rd 2005 shows as W1/1 and I would like Dec 27
2004 to be W1/1. Do you know how I can do this?

thanks,

Alan,
You can do it under certain condition. Here's how.
1. Go to Project/Project Information and set the Project Start Date to
12/27/04
2. Go to Tools/Options/Calendar tab and set Week Starts on to Monday
3. Go to Format/Timescale and select the appropriate timescale labels
(e.g. Major or middle tier to Week 1, Week 2, etc.)

You will still be able to schedule tasks before the Project Start date
but you will get an alert message when you do so.

Hope this helps.
John
