MS Query problem w/Mail Merge via MyODBC

Using Word 2K SP3 with WinXP Pro SP1, I'm attempting to open a MySQL
database as a MS Word 2K mail merge datasource via MyODBC 3.51.

I have successfully configured a working datasource via Control Panel ->
Administrative Tools -> Data Sources (ODBC).

When attempting to connect to the datasource from MS Query, I receive the
following error:

"Microsoft Query has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Has this happen to anyone before? Is reinstalling Word my best option?

I managed to get it working on a different machine running Win2K. I don't
know what the problem is with the other config, but I need to get my work
done and don't have time to mess with it.
