Greetings,
My firm is using MS Project 2007 Professional w/SP 2 and MS Project 2007
Server w/SP 1 on an ASP.
I have a PM who could not check in her plan so saved it to her desktop. The
enterprise plan has been checked in but needs to have the local copy replace
it. The dilemma is that not only is it linked to multiple external plans, it
is also a subproject of a master. What is the best practice for replacing
what is on the server with what is on the local hard drive without breaking
anything? I've identified two options - open the local copy, do a SAVE AS
(while connected to the server) and name it the same as the enterprise plan
OR copy all tasks in the local copy and paste into the enterprise copy,
overwriting all tasks in the enterprise plan.
Thank you!
