My hyperlinks opens the same page in two frames, WHY!?

P

Pyrites

I'm at wits end here guys.

I've designed a page with a banner frame, a left hand frame for navigation
buttons and a main window in the right hand frame to view the content.
My banner works fine and has images I've hyperlinked as buttons, these open
pages in my right hand 'contents' frame.
When I try to create autoshape buttons in the left frame though they alwasy
seem to open up the pages they link to in BOTH the right and the left frames.
I've tried setting the target frame to 'main' but the problem persists.

Any help before my last few clumps of hair get yanked out!?

If the autoshapes are produced from the FrontPage drawing toolbar then
you should avoid them. These autoshapes are VML graphics which will
only render correctly in Internet Explorer, other browsers will see a
poor quality .gif image instead, or sometimes nothing at all. They also
use absolute positioning that may ruin your page display if and when the
user changes the font size and or browser window size.

See http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/vml-graphics.htm for more
details.
