Mystery re PhotoDraw & Works 2000

T

Terry Pinnell

I have just been trying to reinstall Microsoft PhotoDraw (eventually
unsuccessfully). I used Disk 3 from my Office 2000 Premium CD set.
Just before it completed the installation, I got this:
"Microsoft PhotooDraw Application has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

On clicking OK, I then got this strange message:
"Microsoft Works 2000
Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Works 2000"

Yet I hadn't asked to install that. Nor is it on Microsoft Office disk
3. So that soon came to an end, and I clicked Cancel. But it kept
popping back. Eventually had to use Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Anyone here know likely cause please? What possible connection can
there be between these two programs?

Have you tried allowing the completion of the installation?

Have you tried allowing the completion of the installation?

Well, that's what effectively happened. I had no options. But it
wasn't properly installed. Do you know of any connection?
