Navigation Pane missing in ACC2007

If I load an ACC2003 database into ACC2007 and it has an autoexec macro no
navigation pane appears.
How do I open the navigation pane?

I have renamed the autoexec macro in ACC2003 and reloaded it in ACC2007 and
the navigation pane shows up.
If I had installed ACC2007 on top iof ACC2003 I would not have been able to
do the renaming.

So how do you re-display the navigation pane?

2003 version if you are running at runtime, the Navigation Pain does not show
up. Unless you press Ctrl + Shift key to open up your database. You may have
to disable the autoexec temporary.

Thanks for the reponse but I cannot understand what you have said.
1. The navigation pane is a 2007 feature not part of Acc2003!
2. The whole point of my question was to find a way to open the navigation
pane after loading an Acc2003 app which contains an autoexec macro.

I might point out that it might catch some out if they have overwritten
their Acc2003 by installing Acc2007.

My question remains unanswered -
How do you open the navigation pane if you have loaded an app with an
autoexec macro?

That's good, but have you tried to open your DB by pressing Ctrl+Shift and
disable the autoexec?
I don't don't what your autoexec does. Can you give the details?

In the Office button, are you able to click on the Access Options? If you can,
Go to Access Options - Current Database - Navigation - Check the "Display
Navigation Pane" if it is uncheck, close the database and open again. As I
don't know the detials of your macro, you may still need to press Ctrl+Shift
keys to open your DB.

Hope that it works for you.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

I have solved this problem. When opening the database and I hold down the
SHIFT key it opens correctly showing the navigation pane.
I also tried the F11 key after starting and for some unknown reason it
worked and has continued to work reliably. What caused it to fail to work
when I first tried it I do not know. I knew about the F11 key from Acc2003
but when it did not work first time I panicked and starting looking for odd
reasons, being unfamiliar with Acc2007, I could not find any.

However all is sanity now, thanks again for the responses.
